A free, private way to clear your phone’s storage.

Almost everyone reaches the same moment: a phone that says its storage is full, right when you want to take a photo. The usual answer is a cleaner app with a subscription, a long list of permissions and a free trial that quietly turns into a bill. We thought there should be a simpler option.

Yolo Storage Cleaner is a website, not an app. There is nothing to install, it works on iPhone, Android and computers, and it is free to use. It was inspired by well-known storage cleaner apps, and we compare ourselves with them openly on our comparison pages, including where those apps do better than we do.

The photo cleaner groups similar shots, scores blurry pictures, finds screenshots and lists the largest files. The contacts cleaner finds duplicate and empty entries in an exported address book and gives you a tidy file back. The video cleaner finds large, duplicate and very short clips and gives you a checklist.

• Your files stay with you. Photos, videos and contacts are analysed inside your own browser. They are not uploaded to our servers.
• You stay in control. A website cannot delete from your phone’s library, so nothing is removed unless you choose to remove it. We give you a cleaned copy and a checklist.
• We say what we cannot do. We do not claim to compress videos or to reach into your phone. Where another tool does something better, we say so.
• We are open about money. The tools are free. The site is supported by advertising, as explained in our privacy policy.
